Artisan Wednesday WOW *Rise & Shine*

Welcome back for another edition of Artisan Wednesday WOW! I am so excited to see what the Artisan Design Team has come up with this week! I have to say, I had all of my projects done awhile back because I knew that the end of this month would be super crazy busy for me, and I wasn't sure I would have much time for gettin' my craft on. But, after viewing all of the AMAZING projects that this very talented group of ladies were sharing, I began to feel a bit . . . under-dressed naked. . . I knew I needed to step up my dress! So - after a super crazy, non-stop running around, almost zero sleep, hectic week - my dear sweet hubby was kind enough to take my little guy shopping on Saturday for a few hours while I stayed home in peace and quiet and played!

I have been drooling over the Silhouette Cameo for quite some time, and I FINALLY got the okay from dear sweet hubby to order one! I am embarrassed to admit that when it arrived, I left it sitting in it's box for almost a week. But now that things have settled down for a few, I finally broke it free! I thought it would be fun to cut out some of the elements from the Rise & Shine download with my silhouette, and use them for a card. Of course, I was inspired by Cathy's GORGEOUS scrapbook layout she posted last week, and just couldn't resist trying my hand at doing some ink blots and "glitter splats"! (LOL, she makes me laugh!) By the time my boys came home I was covered in ink and glitter, but I was one HAPPY mamma!

 After having so much fun doing Cathy's "glitter splats", I just couldn't resist doing some more on the inside of the card!
