Artisan Wednesday WOW!

Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of the Artisan Wednesday WOW Blog Hop! Be sure to stop by each of the 10 blogs to see what the Artisan Design Team has to share with you this week!

Though I try not to get into political discussions, I, like many of you, am directly affected by the Federal Government shutdown and Congress's inability to reach a budget agreement. In an effort to "cushion the blow" and try to keep my own finances and budget intact, I am looking at my stamp supplies in a whole new light. Though I wish I could, I can't afford to buy everything on my wish list. I can however stretch my stamping dollar by coming up with alternate possibilities for my purchases.

When I saw the Truly Grateful stamp set in the Holiday Catalog, I immediately fell in love with the chevron wood panel pattern background stamp that comes in this set! I also couldn't resist the Sweater Weather DSP! But I found myself wondering how I could make these purchases worth while as I couldn't afford to use them for just the fall season. Luckily the set and paper are versatile enough (like MANY of the other items in the Holiday Catalog) that I was able to come up with a TON of ideas! Here are my three favorites:

I was able to stretch my Truly Grateful stamp set and Sweater Weather DSP from fall all the way into cards for next spring! Don't pass up an item out of the Holiday Catalog that you love because you aren't sure if you will use it once the season is over, use your imagination and see how your sets can transform!

Now, let's head over to The Cat Cave and see what Cathy has in store! I just can't get enough of her fabulous style and fun creations!
