This month the ADT is creating with some new sets that will be coming out in the new catalog! WAHOOOO! I am so excited about the new catalog that will be launching soon, and I am even more excited to be sharing these "sneak peeks" of some new products with you!
I actually created this card last month, while I was still in my "sympathy card" mode, but you could easily change the sentiment using the Alphabet Rotary stamp to make it a thank you, birthday, congrats, or any type of card to meet your needs. This card features the You've Got This stamp set that will be available to order very soon!
Supplies used: You've Got This stamp set and Alphabet Rotary stamp; Versamark and Crumb Cake ink pads; Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Basic Black, Gold Glimmer, and Vellum cardstock; White embossing powder; heat tool; Crystal Effects.
I love the look of white heat embossing on vellum, and with this color combo it adds just the right softness. When I adhered it to the card, I only put adhesive under the center portion of the flower as well us where the sentiment would be going so that the adhesive wouldn't show through the vellum. It also created a "floating" look to the flower, which I love! I created my own faux enamel dots by punching out various size circles and them coating them with a blob of crystal effects.
Overall, this card was fairly simple and easy to create, though with the embossing, fussy cutting, and dry time on the faux enamel dots, it ended up being a bit time consuming! However, that's part of the fun of making cards, isn't it?!
Let's head on over to Cindy's blog and see what fun new set she's been playing with, shall we?!
