Artisan Award Blog Hop Day 10

WOW! I can't believe that today is the last day of the hop. I hope you all have been inspired, and hope you all will stop by again next week as the new Artisan Design Team will be posting our first projects for the 2013-2014 year!

You should be arriving from Alanna Wharf's blog; if not, be sure to go back and check out her last project. We usually save the best (our favorite) for last, don't we?

For my last project I want to share another hybrid scrapbook page. However, I have to apologize for it's lack of photos! I wasn't joking when I said I spent two days creating for the Artisan contest, and it happened to be two days before the entry deadline, which is why this page has no photos! I took a picture of it (so I could re-create one for myself) ran to Walmart to pick up my 1-hour photos, cropped and pasted them onto my page while sitting in my car, and then dashed to UPS to have my box of projects shipped overnight to make the entry deadline! It's true, this is my life!

Now, just imagine this page filled with 7 photo clips of my daily routine: my family (husband, son, and dog who are my life), green smoothies (some people have their morning coffee, I have my green smoothie which cancels out all the cupcakes I eat for the day, right?), my in-home office (because I work in my PJs doing accounting for Great Western), my running shoes (I have an obsession), laundry (which seems never ending, I couldn't imagine doing laundry for 5 more children), my toilet and cleaning supplies (because I am a clean freak, constantly cleaning, I get grossed out at the thought of all the germs that collect in the bathroom), and my vacuum (because I am constantly vacuuming up dog hair and crumbs).

Here it is on the display board at convention with the pics, sorry it's not the greatest photo!

The cardboard was recycled from a Stampin' Up! box :)

Be sure to continue the hop and see the last of the projects from the team. Cathy Caines is next!

  7. You crack me up Mercedes! Sounds just like me rushing like a kook the last couple of days and practically putting things together on the way to the post office! Love this page! I love using the cardboard from our boxes on scrapbook pages too! Crafty minds think alike ;)
