Welcome back to the ADT weekly blog hop! I hope you are enjoying all of the inspiration that these talented ladies have to share! I know this is MY favorite time of the week!
I tell ya, I just can't get enough of the Geometrical stamp set! I had so much fun creating with this set for the Leadership displays, I was completely ecstatic when it showed up again in our box for this month! So. . . you know what that means?! A giveaway! YAY! I have an extra of this awesome set to give away to one lucky follower/commenter! (See below for details.)
Often times I will start out by creating a simple card. . . and I
usually like it, but sometimes I just want to "junk-it-up"! It is usually when the mood befits! Here is the original card that I created for this post:
I first stamped a couple of scraps with my Geometrical stamp set, then ran them through the Big Shot using the Hearts Collection framelits. I also added texture to one using my Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Very simple, with some texture. I like it. . . but the more I looked at it, the more I just wanted to add to it and make it a "junk" card! Yes, DEFINITELY a mood thing! (By the way, "junk" is a very LOVING term that I use to describe my cards that have a lot of "stuff" {i.e. "junk" as my husband refers to it}. So. . . after junking-it-up:
Giggle, giggle! I am in a junk mood! Oh, so about the arrow on the card. . . yes, it would be easiest if you have MDS and a silhouette or e-cutter, then you can quickly and easily cut out an arrow. But, for those of you who don't, no problem! You can still hand cut an arrow! This is how I did it:
Now, about that giveaway. . . here's how it works: First, you MUST be a follower or subscriber! Then, just leave me a comment telling me how much you LOVE the geometrical stamp set (cuz if you don't LOVE it, sorry, you ain't gettin' it) and then check back sometime next week to see if you are the winner (I will randomly select one follower/commenter)! If you are, I will ask you to contact me with your e-mail so I can get your address you wish to have it mailed to, and then you will be able to create with your awesome new set!
Let's go see what mood Cathy is in. . . head on In The Cat Cave!
