Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back for another Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! This year is an international team, so be sure to travel around the world with us as as we share our creativity and ideas with you!

I have been racking my brain for non-candy valentines for Gage's class, and when I saw the super cute pirate image from the Hey, Valenitne stamp set it sparked the perfect idea! Gage's Grandpa Foster is always carrying around gold coins, and the grand-kids love getting them, especially Gage! He has quite the collection of gold coins that he keeps in his treasure box. I thought they would fit perfectly with that cute little pirate, and what a great non-candy gift for his classmates and friends!

Plus, Gage got to join me in my stamp room and do his favorite thing. . . COLOR! Did I mention that he won a McDonald's coloring contest?! Yeah, I am the proud mamma of one creative little guy!
After Gage colored them, I cut a slit in the treasure box to slide the coin into, and then just taped it in place on the backside.
Let's go see what Cindy as created, shall we?!

  2. Cute idea! I ordered this set for my sons preschool so I could give some goldfish crackers as gifts with the fish stamp. Might do the coins for the boys! We also have to do non-candy.

    Great job coloring
