Check out this month's Paper Pumpkin kit project:
Paper Pumpkin is perfect for beginner card makers. This kit comes with easy step-by-step instructions, and everything you need to create 4 of these cards and envelopes. Plus, it is a great way to start building up a small collection of stamps and ink pads you can use on any of your paper-crafting projects. Paper Pumpkin is also great for the more advanced paper-crafters as well! With plenty of supplies in the kit, you are sure to create a fabulous project that showcases your personal style! A neighbor of mine is a big-time cyclist, so this stamp is just perfect to use on a gift bag/box with a little something just for her!
I am big on reuse and recycle, so I made use of the chipboard backing that comes in the kit. I lightly perforated both sides at 1 1/2" (being very careful not to cut all the way through), and then perforated both ends lengthwise at about 3 1/2". Be sure to use a strong adhesive like sticky strip to hold it together, then decorate as desired! How will you use your Paper Pumpkin?
supplies used on bag/box: August Paper Pumpkin kit; Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe and Raspberry Ripple cardstock; Coastal Cabana ink refill; Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack; Tea Lace Paper Doilies; Rhinestone Basic Jewels; 1/8" Mini Brads; Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8" ruffle stretch trim, and Raspberry Ripple 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon; other: white acrylic paint.

Seriously. . .
If you haven't heard yet, Stampin' Up! is now offering Paper Pumpkin, a monthly project kit! It is full of paper, stamps, ink, and anything else you need to create the project including a step-by-step instruction sheet. Some months it may be cards, at times it may be home decor. Each month it is a fabulous surprise with great projects that can be completed in about 30 minutes or less, and it is delivered directly to your mailbox! Be sure to check out Paper Pumpkin's website for more information, and to sign up! You can also sign up anytime by clicking on the Paper Pumpkin photo, or Join Now located on my right blog bar.
But don't let the fun stop there! If you join Paper Pumpkin with me, I will send you my monthly Paper Pumpkin newsletter with even MORE ideas of what you can do with your kit! Check out the Seriously kit with project instructions that are included to make 4 identical cards:
Of course you are always welcome to use the supplies to make your own creations, but to give you even more ideas what else you can make, I will send you samples of more projects you can use with supplies provided in your kit! Here is a sample of projects made ALL with supplies from the kit (with the exception of plain white printer paper for the smash journal and adhesives).
I utilized almost EVERYTHING that came in the kit (including the tissue paper and the box it all came in)! I still had a few leftover items that I think I will be incorporating into a scrapbook page in the near future :)
For the smash journal, I simply added a few pages of plain white printer paper (the only item I used not included in the kit) and decorated the inside front with a pocket to hold stuff, as well as adhered an envelope (with flap tucked in) to the back to create an extra large pocket for stuff.
I also decided to turn one of the cards into a gift card holder:
And of course I had to decorate the envelopes to match!
What are you waiting for?! Join today!
