Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop-Endless Thanks!

Hello! Welcome back to another Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Join us each week as Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team members from around the world share our ideas using Stampin' Up! products with you!

The new Stampin' Up! Catalog is live and you can now order all of the fabulous new products that the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team has been featuring! This week we are featuring the Endless Thanks stamp set and the Greetings Thinlits Dies! BOTH of which are on my top 10 list of favorite products from the new catty! I also love that with either of these products you can choose to go super simple (like this card from last week's Fancy Friday Blog Hop), a little more involoved and fancy (project coming soon), or somewhere in the middle - like this week's project! Check it out:

Don't be intimidated by all of the little flowers to stamp. . . with this set being photopolymer, it makes it ridiculously easy to see just exactly were you are stamping! Just one more thing to love about this amazing set!   Hmmmmm. . . that's odd. . . now I am singing the "Peg plus Cat" theme song in my head. . .

Let's head on over to Cindy's blog to see what amazing things she has in store with this week's product feature, shall we?!

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop-Gift Wrap

Welcome back to another Stampin' Up! 2014 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! Be sure to travel through the entire hop so you don't miss out on a thing!

I have been busy preparing for the holidays, and I must tell you. . . I am in love. I have fallen absolutely head-over-heels for the Festive Designer Kraft Paper Rolls! I have always loved using kraft paper to wrap gifts, as it offers a neutral canvas for many amazing possibilities. The Festive Designer Kraft Paper Rolls still offer the endless possibilities, but with added fun designs! PLUS, the texture and quality of the paper is amazing! It is sturdy, so you don't have worry about it tearing as you are wrapping, but yet still so pliable and easy to work with. It also offers a "coating" of sorts so that the tape can easily be removed without tearing the paper! Check out this fun gift wrapped up with the Paper Rolls. . .

Just add ribbon (I used the Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon, which can also by colored any color you wish using your ink refills), and a tag! I made my tag using the Scolloped Tag Topper Punch and a sentiment from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set.

I'm not going to show you what is inside the gift wrap just yet. . . But join me as we continue on the hop by heading over to Cindy's blog!

Fancy Friday-Pretty Packages

Welcome to another Fancy Friday! Be sure to continue on the hop to see what everyone has to share, I am SURE you are gonna LOVE everything!

Before I share this week's challenge and my project, I have an announcement to make! I forgot to post the winner from last month's Fancy Friday giveaway. . . apologies. . . so, before I forget yet again, the winner of the Trim the Tree DSP stack is. . . . .

Rosemarie Calpin!

Rosemarie, please e-mail me your address, and I will get that mailed to you ASAP!

Now, onto this month's Fancy Friday Challenge. . .  for this moth we chose the theme "Pretty Packages". If there is one thing I love more than shopping for the perfect gift, it is wrapping it up! To me, taking a little extra time to package up that perfect gift and make it look pretty shows just how much you really care about the person you are giving it to.

Although I have branched out the past couple of years into more bolder colors, my favorite is still the soft, subtle, tone-on-tone look, especially when used with neutrals! Here I used the Gift Box Punch Board to create a Very Vanilla box, and then decorated it with neutral embellishments. Now I just need to find the perfect gift to put in it. . .

Curious to see what Cathy has made? Me too! It's ultra FANCY I'm sure of it! Let's head on In the Cat Cave and check it out!

AWW-Party!

Welcome Back to another Artisan Wednesday WOW Blog Hop! Today we are sharing in detail our projects from Stampin' Up!'s Facebook post.

Did someone say PARTY?! I am totally in! Oh. . . wait. . . that was me. . . I do like to party, especially when it is for no particular reason other than to just have FUN!

Really, who wouldn't want to come to a party with this yummy invitation?!

And that's just the "pre-party"! I didn't show anything for the "during party", but you can imagine! And as far as the "after-party", who wouldn't love to go home with this lively little favor?

Does it really matter what's inside?! Something awesome I am sure, but just the packaging alone?! I sure wouldn't want to miss out on it!

Lucky you! Due to a couple of requests, I put together a quick tutorial below on how to make the pocket card for the invitation! I decided to do the video at the last minute (because it was less confusing than the written instructions I was writing up), and so the video is totally rough copy and unedited! Here's the lucky part. . . you get to see just what a true total dork I really am! Hahahah! Don't judge. . .

Phew! Glad that's over! Torture. . . . I know!

Now, let's head In The Cat Cave and see the deets on Cathy's gorgeous project!

Artisan Wednesday WOW!

Welcome back to another edition of the Artisan Wednesday WOW blog hop! This week we are sharing in more detail our FaceBook projects, hope you enjoy!

I LOVE the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from the Occasions Catalog! I have already punched a TON of tag bases to just have on hand so that when I need to I can just grab a tag base, add some stamps and maybe some embellishments, and have a cute tag in no time! For this tag I used one tag created out of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock, then added a second tag with the new Gold Fancy Foil Designer Velum over to add a touch of fancy!

I cut a banner from Whisper White cardstock and stamped the heart image from the Peachy Keen set on the banner. Then I inked up the image again and "kissed" it onto the En Francias stamp, then stamped it on another scrap piece of white cardstock, cut it out (not including the background lines), and adhered it with dimensional to the banner sandwiching a strip of Gold Foil sheet and 5/8" Victoria Crochet Trim in between the two images.

Though this tag may look super involved, I assure you that it isn't! It was very quick and easy to create! What ended up taking me the most amount of time was trying to thread the Gold Baker's Twine through the holes of the Very Vintage Desinger Buttons!

I clipped the tag onto a Tag a Bag Gift Bag with a mini clothespin from the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit, but if I had them, I would have used a gold Mini Metallic Clothespins. . . they are on my wishlist!

Now, let's head In the Cat Cave and get the details on Cathy's jaw dropping project!

http://www.inthecatcave.com/2014/01/aww-jan-4.html

Artisan Wednesday WOW!

It's time again for another Artisan Wednesday WOW blog hop! If you missed it, we posted our Facebook projects on Friday, you will definitely want to go back and check those out!

I LOVE color, and I especially LOVE using non-traditional color combos like this one: (colors used Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, and Bermuda Bay.)

Today's project was fairly simple. I used the Verry Merry Tags set for the card and punched the ornaments out with the coordinating Mosaic punch. I also punched the middle of the ornament out with the 1/2" circle punch, popped it up just a tad with a glue dot, and added some crystal effects and a rhinestone for some dimension. I adhered the 1/8" silver ribbon to the card first, and then added the ornaments with a dimensional. The sentiment stamp came from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

For the box, I used the Extra-Large Gift Box (these are 4 3/8" X 6" X 6" -perfect for larger gifts), added some Winter Frost DSP, Bermuda Bay Cardstock, Calypso Coral Baker's Twine, Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim, and a perfect bow made easily with the Gift Bow Die and some Pistachio Pudding cardstock!

VIOLA! Gifts are so much more fun when they are wrapped up fancy, aren't they?!

Now, let's continue the hop and go In The Cat Cave to see what gorgeous (and possibly sparkly or gold?) project Cathy has to share with us! I LOVE her projects!
